Kylie Roesler is a researcher with experience in congressional offices, academics, industry, and international policy development. She has interned in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, gaining firsthand insight into policy making. Kylie’s research includes work in agricultural economics and sustainability through roles with the University of Arkansas and Cornell University, where she conducted economic analysis, laboratory research, and policy-focused evaluations related to food systems and biosecurity.
She holds an International MS in Rural Development from Ghent University in Belgium, where her studies included fieldwork focused on financial viability of food systems. Through casework in Tuscany, Italy with the University of Pisa, Kylie examined innovation in rural development and the European Union policy approaches to industry. She also holds an MS in Agricultural Economics and a BS in Poultry Science from the University of Arkansas.
Kylie’s hidden talent: She is a three-time national poultry judging champion. As a recognized “egg-pert,” she can accurately identify poultry breeds, evaluate eggs, grade nuggets, and assess bird health at an exceptional level of accuracy.
