PRESS RELEASE: Mindset Enhances Financial Services and Technology Practices with Key Team Additions
Washington, D.C.— Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., announced today several new additions to its team as the firm continues to expand its financial services and technology practices. Clement Abonyi Jr. joined as Senior Director, bringing years of deep expertise in financial services policy and leadership on Capitol Hill. Jacob Boles also joined as an associate supporting Mindset’s Tech, Telecom, AI, and Competition practices, and Kia Sosa was named executive assistant.

Abonyi previously served as Director of Advocacy for America’s Credit Unions, where he advanced key priorities before Congress and worked closely with Members and staff to shape policy outcomes affecting credit unions nationwide. Earlier, he served as Chief of Staff to Representative Maxine Waters, overseeing operations in both her Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles offices. Prior to that, he served as Member Services Director on the House Financial Services Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from American University.
