PRESS RELEASE: Mindset Expands Leadership Team with Promotions of Kendra Isaacson and Charlie Schreiber to Partner
Washington, D.C. — Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., today announced the expansion of its leadership team with the promotion of Kendra Isaacson and Charlie Schreiber to Partner. Isaacson and Schreiber previously served as Principals at the firm and have played key roles in meeting the growing needs of clients across sectors including financial services, retirement, and housing.
“Kendra and Charlie are integral members of our team, providing strategic insight across our financial services and retirement portfolios,” said Mindset Partner Langston Emerson. “Their promotions strengthen our ability to deliver high-impact results for our clients and represent the caliber of Mindset’s team across multiple sectors. We are looking forward to their leadership contributions as Mindset continues to grow.”
Isaacson is one of Washington’s leading voices on retirement policy and a frequent thought leader during critical policy inflection points. She leads Mindset’s retirement practice, expanding the firm’s capabilities and tailoring solutions for clients across the sector. Prior to joining Mindset, Isaacson served as Pensions Policy Director and Senior Tax Counsel for Senate HELP Chair Patty Murray (D-WA) and the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions, where she advised on pensions, tax, and broader economic issues. Her experience at the Department of Labor and in the private sector has been a significant asset to the firm and its clients.
Since joining Mindset, Schreiber has strengthened the firm’s financial services policy practice, providing expertise across banking, insurance, capital markets, mortgage, consumer finance, and fintech issues. He has led work on major legislative priorities, including banking legislation, tax negotiations related to Section 199A and C-SALT protections, guided clients through the development and bicameral introduction of capital markets legislation, and helped secure passage of one of the few housing bills enacted last year, representing a rare bipartisan achievement. Schreiber previously served as Senior Counsel to the House Committee on Financial Services under Ranking Member Patrick McHenry (R-NC-10) and worked under Chairman Jeb Hensarling (R-TX-05), giving him deep insight into congressional oversight and investigations. His experience also includes service with the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs’ Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations and the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office in Ohio.
With these promotions, Mindset continues to strengthen its leadership and expand its ability to deliver high-quality strategic counsel and client support across all sectors. The firm is proud to welcome two exceptional policy experts to its partnership.
