Clement is a trusted voice in policy and financial services, known for leveraging strong bipartisan relationships to help clients achieve their goals.
He began his career in legislative strategy with Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43) on the House Financial Services Committee, where his ability to translate complex financial issues and drive strategic operations laid the groundwork for his career across Congress and the Administration.
Clement later joined the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a day-one appointee in the Biden Administration, helping to establish the Office of Legislative Affairs, before returning to Congress as Chief of Staff to Congresswoman Waters.
Most recently, he led advocacy efforts at America’s Credit Unions (formerly the Credit Union National Association), guiding members through legislative and political challenges impacting the industry. He has also served as a Director at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, advising then-Chairman Sean Patrick Maloney, and earlier in his career conducted policy research at the Groom Law Group.
Clement earned his BA in Political Science from American University’s School of Public Affairs in Washington, DC.
