Chantel has more than decades of experience in Washington addressing retirement, health care, and employee relations matters..

Chantel brings expertise from her close work with numerous stakeholders, including Capitol Hill, the Labor Department, US Treasury, IRS and PBGC. Her technical knowledge of the complicated web of benefits laws and regulations is matched by her expertise in helping businesses and other sophisticated clients find practical and workable solutions to their needs, including building and leading coalitions.

Chantel has been a partner at a major international law firm, a government relations consultant for a global benefits consulting firm and the fund director for a national multiemployer health fund giving her familiarity and confidence in tackling the many challenges clients face. Most recently, she led the US Chamber of Commerce’s retirement portfolio, handling initiatives with both Congress and federal agencies.

Chantel’s hidden talent: She is a competitive sculler in the mid-Atlantic region in the mixed double, and while not doing that she often is in her single scull on the mighty Anacostia river and coaching adult rowers from learn to scull to advanced scullers.
