During his time at the firm, Brant has also built a strong foundation across a number of sectors, including financial services, energy, and trade. His gift for collaboration has yielded key successes for Mindset clients and strengthened our team.
Brant joined the firm over a decade ago after spending several years leading the financial services practice at another major Washington lobbying shop. His career in public policy began when he served as Counsel for the House Financial Services Committee’s Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government Sponsored Entities.
Prior to working on the Hill, Brant practiced maritime law in the energy sector in New Orleans, Louisiana, and has significant experience with the Napoleonic code. During his years as a practicing attorney, he honed his litigation skills and brings this doggedness to bear for Mindset clients.
Brant holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a JD from Tulane Law School.
Brant’s hidden talent: He is his own human-powered ski lift, descending backcountry peaks that he scales with his gear and supplies on his back.
