Kathy has an impressive background of work experience in a broad spectrum of sectors including politics, business, non-profit, and education. She has excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, a detail- and goal-oriented work ethic, and an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Kathy is a self-motivated, well-rounded, strong problem solver. She has proven to be an invaluable asset to Mindset’s scheduling team.
Before joining the Mindset team, Kathy worked as an Administrative Assistant and Finance Technician at a Fairfax County Grade School, where she supervised the front office staff, maintained the school’s financial records, and was responsible for managing the school’s budget and overseeing the payments of all education-related materials.
Prior to that, Kathy worked for many years as a fundraiser for various Congressional campaigns. She has also been a teacher’s assistant, receptionist, director of fundraising for a non-profit organization, and manager of communications for a trade association. However, Kathy is most proud of her many years as a stay-at-home mom, raising four amazing children.
Kathy received her bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in history from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
