Mindset Expands Fiscal and Research Expertise with Addition of Capitol Hill Veteran Doug Lee
Washington, D.C. – September 27, 2021- Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy, is pleased to announce that Doug Lee has joined the company as Senior Director. Lee will play a leading role in Mindset’s respected tax, trade and appropriations practice, and contribute significantly to Mindset’s analytical and policy research work supporting our diverse base of business, non-profit, and investor clients.

Lee most recently served as Vice President of U.S. Public Policy at Credit Suisse, where he provided Credit Suisse’s clients with valuable insights and analysis on market-moving policy developments across the economy through his detailed written Washington Research product. He also developed and executed the bank’s advocacy strategy on issues ranging from prudential regulations to sustainable finance. At Credit Suisse, Lee closely counseled the bank’s senior executives across various business units on legislative and regulatory matters material to firm operations and activities.
Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Lee served as an Associate Staff Member on the House Appropriations Committee, as well as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to Congressman Mike Quigley (D-IL), Chairman of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government. Lee began his career in Washington working for Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) as a legislative aide on economic policy. A New York native, Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Delaware.
