Symonne Smith Ojong is a strategic advisor and project manager with a strong focus on service delivery and solutions-oriented outcomes. With extensive experience in transition management across non-profit and government sectors, Symonne is known for navigating complex challenges in fast-paced environments.
Before joining Mindset, Symonne served as the Scheduling Director for U.S. Senator Alex Padilla, where she led and managed all operational processes related to the executive office’s daily and long-term functions. Previously, she was Scheduler and Executive Assistant to Chairwoman Maxine Waters of the House Financial Services Committee and contributed to several roles in the non-profit sector at AIDS United before her tenure on Capitol Hill.
Driven by a passion for service and a commitment to excellence, Symonne is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in her community and beyond. She is actively involved in community service projects and has held various leadership positions on Capitol Hill with the Congressional Black Associates and the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus.
