PRESS RELEASE: Steve Pavlick Returns to Mindset Boosting Advisory Practice
Washington, D.C.—Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., announced today the addition of Steve Pavlick to help broaden the company’s growing policy research and advisory work, providing strategic insights and actionable analysis of policy and political developments of critical interest to companies and investors. Immediately prior to rejoining Mindset, Pavlick was Partner and Head of Policy at Renaissance Macro, a leading independent sell-side macro research firm catering to buy-side institutional investors where he covered a wide range of policy and political issues impacting a wide range of industry sectors. Previously, he was an appointee in the administration of former President Donald J. Trump where he began as the Economic Portfolio Presidential Appointments Lead for the Presidential Transition Team, and later served as an Advisor and Deputy Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury under Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Pavlick is also a proud Mindset alum, having previously served as a Research Director. He has also worked in the U.S. Senate and at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Pavlick’s expertise has been featured on CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, and China Global Television Network (CGTN). During his time at the U.S. Treasury Department, he led engagement with the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives on the Department’s International Affairs portfolio, helping to secure the passage of the Trade Promotion Authority and the IMF quota reforms, among other achievements.
Steve received his MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and his BS in Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
