PRESS RELEASE: Mindset Adds Rebecca Alcorn as Director to Focus on Banking and Financial Services Policy
Washington, D.C.—Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., announced today the addition of Rebecca Alcorn to serve as Director. Alcorn will utilize her deep policy experience within the banking and financial services sectors to support Mindset clients.

Prior to joining Mindset, Rebecca served as a senior policy advisor for Senator Mike Crapo (R-Idaho). In this capacity, she served as a lead staffer guiding the senator’s banking and financial services policy priorities. Rebecca was instrumental in drafting and enacting legislation, including the Financial Data Transparency Act, and creating the Community Development Finance Caucus.
Rebecca also served as a legislative aide in the House of Representatives and began her time on Capitol Hill in the office of the Majority Whip. Rebecca started her career at the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance. She earned her Bachelors of Arts from North Carolina State University and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland.
