Mindset Adds Scott Shewcraft as Senior Director; Expands Growing Team to Serve Clients
Washington, D.C.—Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., announced today the addition of Scott Shewcraft to serve as Senior Director. Shewcraft will focus on financial services, retirement, and digital assets, and will help the firm meet the needs of a growing client roster across a broad range of policy sectors.

Prior to joining Mindset, Shewcraft served as Vice President of Policy at the Economic Innovation Group. In this position, he developed the organization’s policy agenda and led a team of employees and consulting firms as they executed on policy priorities. Shewcraft also served as Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman Bill Foster (D-IL), as well as a program analyst for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Shewcraft is a graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center, Michigan State University College of Law, and Albion College.
Shewcraft joins Mindset as a Senior Director and will play a key role in supporting the firm’s efforts within the financial services, retirement, and digital assets policy sectors.
In addition to Shewcraft, Mindset recently welcomed new hires Ian McDermott and Chris Warneck, who will serve as executive assistants.
