PRESS RELEASE: Gary Rubin and Sarah Alexander Join Mindset as Senior Directors to Strengthen Advisory Practice and Energy Portfolio

 Washington, D.C.— Mindset, a bipartisan public policy consultancy based in Washington, D.C., announced the addition of Gary Rubin and the return of Sarah Alexander as Senior Directors.

Before joining Mindset, Rubin was Deputy Head of Regulatory Interpretations at Wells Fargo, responsible for analyzing regulatory impacts, leading regulatory responses and compliance efforts, and supporting cross-functional initiatives. Before that, he held key positions at the Federal Reserve Board and U.S. Department of the Treasury, and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where he contributed to significant rulemaking, led and participated in bank examinations, and provided critical policy assessments to decision-makers..

Rubin holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York Law School, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Brandeis University.

Alexander rejoins Mindset after serving on Capitol Hill as Energy and Coastal Policy Advisor to Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA). Before that, she was a Professional Staff Member on the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, supporting the Subcommittees on Environment, Manufacturing, Critical Materials, and Energy, Climate, and Grid Security. During her previous tenure at Mindset, she advanced from Associate to Director, contributing to a wide range of client work across the environment, energy, infrastructure, transportation, trade, and agriculture sectors.

Alexander holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Virginia.
